Product Description

The Dohre PEX Series corner radius end mill is a solid carbide milling tool designed for steel machining up to HRC55, including carbon steel, alloy steel, cast iron, ordinary mold steel, and general steel materials.


As a corner radius end mill, this tool is mainly used for side-wall finishing, shoulder milling, step machining, profile finishing, and applications where stronger corner protection is required. Compared with a sharp square end mill, the corner radius design helps distribute cutting stress more smoothly and reduce the risk of corner chipping during steel machining.


With ultra-fine carbide, AlTiN nano composite coating, a 6° positive rake angle, a 35° helix angle, and controlled corner radius geometry, the PEX corner radius end mill helps improve cutting stability, edge strength, and surface consistency in finishing and semi-finishing operations.


For flat surface, slotting, and sharp corner machining, a PEX square end mill is usually more suitable. For curved surface and 3D contour finishing, a PEX ball nose end mill is a better choice.

The PEX corner radius end mill is made from ultra-fine carbide with 10% cobalt content. This carbide substrate provides a balance of hardness, toughness, and wear resistance for carbon steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and general steel machining up to HRC55.
