The UEX series corner radius end mill is specially designed for mold steel machining up to HRC60. It is especially suitable for mold cavities, side walls, corner transitions, and semi-finishing to finishing applications where edge strength, machining stability, and surface consistency are important.


Compared with square end mills, the corner radius geometry helps improve edge strength and reduce chipping during machining. Compared with ball nose end mills, it is more suitable for stable machining of side walls, shoulder areas, and transition surfaces where both precision and tool life are required.


With ultra-fine carbide substrate, advanced TIALSIN coating, and optimized anti-vibration geometry, this tool helps achieve smoother cutting, better corner protection, and more reliable tool life in mold steel machining.

The UEX corner radius end mill uses ultra-fine submicron carbide below 0.6 μm with 12% cobalt content. This material provides a balanced combination of hardness, toughness, and wear resistance, making it suitable for stable machining of mold steel materials.
